Rev. Dr. Cynthia J. Rioland is a dynamic and inspiring ordained minister with the American Baptist Churches, USA. She serves as the Executive Minister at Paramount Baptist Church in Southeast Washington, D.C., alongside her husband, Rev. Kenneth E. Rioland, Jr., the Senior Pastor. She will begin serving as Interim-Pastor at Macedonia Baptist Church, Heathsville, Virginia in April. 

Dr. Rioland is an accomplished author, sought-after conference speaker, and preacher known for her high energy and life-changing sermons. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Florida A&M University, Master of Divinity from Howard University and Doctor of Ministry from Regent University.

Dr. Rioland has a passion for supporting and empowering women of all ages, encouraging them to reach their full potential. With her unique ability to bring biblical teachings into practical, everyday application, she connects deeply with her congregation, using humor and energy to bridge the gap between the pulpit and the pew.  Pastor Kenneth and Dr. “C” are the proud parents of one son: Kenneth E. Rioland, Jr. (Tre’s), mother-in-law to Daizha Rioland, and grandmother of Alani Day and Izabella Mae Grace. She embraces her family life and lives by the words of Job 23:10: “He knows the way I take: When he has tested me, I shall come forth as pure gold.”
